Pneumatic Active disc brakes
Ka-PA-150 is used with a brake disc of thickness 12.7 mm. The Kateel range of pneumatic brakes uses dry and compressed air at pressures up to 7 bar. These pneumatic brakes require a control valve which may be operated manually / by electric signal.
Pneumatic Failsafe disc brakes
Ka-pf-320 is used with a brake disc of thickness 12.7 mm. The Kateel range of pneumatic brakes uses dry and compressed air at pressures up to 7 bar. These pneumatic brakes require a control valve which may be operated manually / by electric signal.
Hydraulic Active disc brakes
Kc-HA-050 is used with a brake disc of thickness 13 - 40 mm The Kateel range of hydraulic brakes use a specially formulated hydraulic oil (Hydrol 68) to deliver the desired hydraulic pressure. These hydraulic brakes require a hydraulic power unit to operate the brake. Variable braking torque can be achieved by regulating the hydraulic pressure as shown in the chart.
Hydraulic Failsafe disc brakes
Kc-HF-700 is used with brake discs of thickness 13-15 / 25.4 / 30 / 40 mm. The Kateel range of hydraulic brakes use a specially formulated hydraulic oil (Hydrol 68) to deliver the desired hydraulic pressure. These hydraulic brakes require a hydraulic power unit to operate the brake. Variable braking torque can be achieved by regulating the hydraulic pressure as shown in the chart.
Electro-Hydraulic Thruster operated disc brakes(E.H.T)
Kateel Electro hydraulic thrustor disc brake is a fail safe brake. When power supply is given to the motor, hydraulic pressure builds up inside the thruster and the piston moves up to release the brake. When the power is cut off, hydraulic pressure gets released and the piston moves down, thus moving the brake arm forward allowing the pad to clamp the disc with the spring force and apply the brake.
Electro-Magnetic Disc brakes
Kba-EM-1000 is used with brake disc of thickness 25 & 38 mm. This brake is suitable for medium to heavy duty holding and emergency stop applications. The design ensures long life with fully potted coils protecting against harsh environments. A wide range of coil voltage (12V to 250V D.C) is available.
Manual Hand knob / Lever operated disc brakes
Ka-h-180 is used with a brake disc of thickness 12.7mm The Kateel range of manually operated brakes are best suited for applications where continuous breaking is not required and also in places where pneumatic / hydraulic supply is not available.
