Kateel Brakes

Kateel's heavy duty, high integrity, industrial strength brakes are ideal for bulk material handling equipment such as conveyors, cranes, elevators, etc, where safety and reliability are paramount. All our brakes are tested at full torque, and are backed by rigorous quality control that conforms to IRQS certified ISO 9001-2000 standards.

Our hydraulic failsafe disc brakes feature automatic pad wear adjustment, and support braking force ranging from 4775 N to 80,000 N of braking force. These are designed with fewer moving parts, and the pads can be replaced easily without downtime. Our customers use these brakes in textile machinery, wind turbines, for cable manufacture, and several other applications.

The hydraulic and pneumatic brakes are available in both active and failsafe
